1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

2. Principle
This website is built to process as little data as possible. It sets no cookies, performs no usage analytics, embeds no social media plugins, and loads no fonts or scripts from third-party servers. All fonts are served from this site’s own origin, so no connection to Google Fonts or comparable services is established.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Hostinger. The provider is Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus. The servers are located in Germany; backups are stored within the European Union (France).
When the site is accessed, the host automatically processes information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- volume of data transferred and confirmation of successful retrieval
- browser type and operating system
- where applicable, the previously visited page (referrer)
This processing is technically necessary in order to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless and secure operation of the website.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger. Processing takes place within the European Union; the hosting therefore involves no transfer of personal data to a third country.
4. Contact by email
If you contact me by email, your details are processed for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.
5. Retention period
Enquiries and the associated correspondence are deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose, and at the latest once any statutory retention periods have expired. Retention obligations under commercial and tax law (generally six or ten years) remain unaffected. Server log files are deleted automatically by the host after a short period.
6. Your rights
Subject to the statutory conditions, you have the right at any time to:
- information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
You may withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). An informal message to the email address above is sufficient to exercise these rights.
7. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is generally that of the federal state of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
8. Encryption
For security reasons this website uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection in your browser’s address bar.
9. Changes to this policy
This privacy policy will be updated whenever the legal situation or the services used on this website change. The version published here is the one that applies.
